I have to thank my corporate job, without which, I would not have had years of neck-shoulder pain, endless chiropractor visits, countless days of not being able to turn my head. Without which, I would not have looked to yoga to find some relief. Nor would I have found a job which I am passionate about, a job which I can share that true healing can only be achieved by oneself.
Lama Marut once said this big pain or disaster we have in our life, is critical for awakening. Without it, we would not be looking for a way to end our suffering. And of course, if we do not seek, we will never find. "Do not let a good disaster go to waste" were his words....
So, this constant pain… led me to going to yoga from once to three times a week and after three years, I found myself in two Yoga Teacher trainings. I am always grateful to Hee Boon for igniting my interest in the practice, Patrick Creelman for inspiring me to take on my dream job and Peter Thomson for constantly helping me see things for what they are.
